Keep track of current affairs through the media.

Background: I'm an avid consumer of news. Over the years I've progressed from reading paper-form journalism, to news websites, to now reading 60+ feeds in Google Reader, tracking information from around the world and across the political spectrum. That said, I've been a subscriber to the New York Times since I left my home for college, and no matter where I've moved, my subscription has followed. In addition, I also dig into Foreign Affairs, and watch the NewsHour with Jim Lehrer and catch NPR when I can. I pay particular attention to business, political, and cultural news, as well as, of course, getting a decent helping of popular culture.
